Our firsts were well beaten by a good Royton CCFC side on sunday in an entertaining end to end game. Royton were well drilled and clinical in front of goal, even scoring a brilliant overhead kick. Next up for the first team is a home tie where they’ll host Bolton Castle.

Our firsts poor form continued at the weekend as they were knocked out the Cup by a well drilled Littleborough FC side. The lads will want to bounce back in the league as they face the same side this Sunday at Home.

The Lions First team came up short once again at the weekend, losing 2-1 in a close encounter vs Littleborough. Overall a really good performance compared to the previous meeting. Lots of positives to take away. Theres no game for the lads this weekend.

The Firsts travelled to last seasons champions Littleborough for this years opening fixture An entertaining game seen the Lions fight back from 2-0 down to a 3-3 draw. The Lions were disappointed with the draw but will take positives for the season ahead. 🦁

Points shared in Lions 3rds season opener. Debut goals from Jordan and Arin the highlight of a well fought game.

Lions took control taking a 3-1 lead early in the county cup. However an injury to the goalkeeper turned the game on its head and Lions ultimately lost 7-3 as Reddish took control deservedly. Good luck to Reddish North End in the next round.

Lions continued their unbeaten start to the league with a 2-2 draw vs Ramsbottom Hounds. Lions would have felt they deserved the win but failure to convert big chances and a late mistake ultimately left them with a share of the points

It was a ruthless display from the Lions as they hosted Ramsbottom Hounds, making no mistake in claiming all 3 points!
