Was excited to be back at NeMLA to share my Intro to Poetry survey course philosophy and strategies on the DIY Anthologies panel! Happy to share my syllabus, slides, and resource for showing students that canon formation is a process they might speak into.

Had a wonderful time presenting & listening to wonderful presentations NeMLA, especially my friend Dr. Galen Bunting’s work on Barnes’ Nightwood & mushrooms. Funky stuff! Also snuck off to the famous Lynch park, which is one of the best—& most intimidating—parks I’ve skated.

The 55th #NeMLA Annual Convention has ended, but NeMLA continues with the 56th Annual Convention in Philadelphia! Submit your session proposals by May 15!
