As fall sets in, Indigenous Peoples gear up for the winter. Their preparations encompass harvesting wild rice, hunting and fishing, collecting teas, medicines, and crafting moccasins, snowshoes, and fishing nets. ❄️ 🧡

📍 Cascumpec Lighthouse Originally built in 1854, the current Cascumpec Lighthouse was moved across ice with 16 teams of horses in 1899 and now resides on the shore.
