I thought that this was very sweet, unfortunately there was no flag for Misha at the medal ceremony, and Ilia and Tatsuya put their flags down to take photos 🥹

i’m so proud of him 🥹 this is already such a great achievement but he’s grown so much since this event too and it’s like… idk i love him so much

in preparation for this event, misha was only able to train in public rinks, unable to do full runthroughs for over a MONTH, and he skated a clean short and a clean free (which included three quads)
it boggles the mind

i said this on my priv but some people need to realise that figure skating is HARD. skaters with a wrong edge or underrotations are usually actively working on these problems and trying to fix them, not trying to trick the technical panel. it’s not an immediate fix.
