Been watching Tulane tape just to really peak my interest of a Jon Sumrall offense. Theres a TON of RPO. But the offense is not as unwatchable as some UK fans make it seem. A good amount of explosiveness. Tulane is 32nd in yards per play this year (UK 97th). Fun Stoops ball lol.

Also after reading The Athletic’s article about him, Sumrall is really distancing himself from numbers 2 and 3 as far as who I want to be the next Kentucky football coach (as stated on Breaking Blue: A Kentucky Podcast). I want the insanity and intensity that Jon Sumrall brings!

BRUTAL first half for Kentucky. Injuries really hurting this team tonight but there’s still too much iso ball on offense and really soft defense. Got to be more physical and start drawing up plays for our shooters.

Im officially worried about this Kentucky teams shooting.

On a positive note, this can be a great lesson for Kentucky to learn this early. Play physical and you can beat anybody. Play soft and you can lose to anybody.

This is by far the worst shooting performance of the Mark Pope Era

History repeats itself 42 years later and Kentucky cannot make a shot in the second half against Georgetown☠️ I was negative 20 years old for that game. Remember it like it was yesterday!

I know it’s later but I’m super happy for Mark Stoops. After everything he’s done for Kentucky, he deserved this. If it’s over then fine but regardless I’m glad he got to have tonight. Proud to be a Kentucky wildcat!
