Rattler has absolutely hit on the higher end of his outcomes, but the 98th percentile outcome for a day 3 QB is Kirk Cousins. You can’t get fooled by surprisingly decent 5th round QB play into having you pass up on drafting a potential actual franchise QB.

Reminder today: you don't get to be bad enough to draft a potential franchise QB by being competitive in every game and losing most of them. If you want to try to draft the next great QB, you probably have to really suck.

My fears from the last couple years that have been confirmed now were that the things separating the Saints from the Jets and the Pels from the Kings were not overall organizational stability, but 3 Hall of Famers (Payton, Brees, Davis) dragging poor organizations to relevance.
