Today, activists and migration, human rights and sea rescue organisations, including Refugees In Libya, gathered in Piazza Navona in Rome, to raise voices and demand to STOP the Memorandum of Understanding between Italy and Libya, and to stop violence against people on the move.

From Rome, we stand with Refugees In Libya and other supporters and human rights and rescue organisations to call for an end to the shameful Memorandum between Italy and Libya! An agreement that brought so much suffering and deaths to people on the move crossing the Mediterranean!

Today in Rome we listened to the powerful voices of survivors. Together with Refugees In Libya & other comrades we will continue to struggle against the Italy-Libya Memorandum of Understanding. Survivors repeatedly called it the Memorandum of death, as it causes so much suffering.
