Phenomenal opinion piece on hospital capacity in Edmonton zone. Is our province really prioritizing a hockey arena over a desperately needed hospital? Access Block and hospital overcrowding causes care delay, suffering, and preventable death. edmontonjournal.com/opinion/column…

This 🧵👇 1000% AB’s acute care system is about to implode, competing w other provinces for a HC workforce that doesn’t exist at the moment.

This is a great graph. Most of the data we need - MD's per capita and a comparison with other provinces. Despite increases everywhere else AB is dropping. Regardless of whether this is loss or increased population it represents a failure of government.

Holy Smokes, the Marsh Family has put out this parody song about J.D. Vance and not only is it catchy but it hits the nail on the head… “Anti Trump a few years ago,  Called him out as a ‘Hitler’ show.  Now you’re playing his sidekick,   Kissing Donald’s ring” I watched it 70

Government has chosen not to act. If we are not being heard, it’s time to shout. There is strength in acting together, in determination and in a relentless focus on patients. Albertans are counting on us. Dr. Shelley Duggan's inaugural President's Letter: albertadoctors.org/news/publicati…

There have been so many good and reasonable suggestions to improve healthcare for Albertans. Our government is amazing in its ability to ignore almost all of them. We can't afford much more ignorance.

Coming later today, Issue 2 of Fact Checkup where we clear up misleading information spread in the past week. Here's a preview regarding the changes in physician registration numbers. CPSA's data is accurate, but context matters - Albertans need care NOW
