What a start from Tyler Glasnow on Monday against the Cardinals: 7 IP 3 H 1 ER 2 BB 7 K 101 pitches His season ERA is down to 3.06. His ERA since coming off the IL (five starts) is 2.17. This is what the Dodgers envisioned when they got him.

Max Muncy is back. In his second game off the IL, he crushes a home run, and the Dodgers lead 2-0 after a Shohei Ohtani double and Freddie Freeman sacrifice fly. The Dodgers offense desperately missed Muncy. They're going to take off with him back.

The Dodgers haven’t scored more than 5 runs in a game since July 22. It’s the third inning and they have 5 thanks to two Max Muncy home runs and a Teoscar Hernandez homer. The Dodgers offense is completely different with Muncy in the lineup.

The Dodgers’ 10 runs tonight are their most in a game since June 22. The Dodgers offense is at its best with Max Muncy in the lineup. Muncy has 2 HRs and 4 RBIs. Teoscar Hernández has 2 HRs and 4 RBIs. What an offensive performance for LA.

Shohei Ohtani got some help from his defense for the first two outs of the first inning. He then painted three fastballs to get the third out, finishing it off with a 99.7 mph strike to get the strikeout looking.

Shohei Ohtani is through two shutout innings, and is getting some ugly swings by the Cardinals. He has three strikeouts and has generated six swings and misses. He's at just 21 pitches, and clearly unbothered by last week's cramps.

Noah Camras (@noahcamras) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Shohei Ohtani's defense failed him in the top of the 3rd, allowing a run on a dropped pop up and bunt. So he decided to get it back and then some, hitting a two-run home run to deep center field. The Dodgers lead 2-1 and Ohtani is doing it all for LA.

Shohei Ohtani the pitcher has touched 101.1 mph and thrown 5 pitches at or higher than 100 mph today. Shohei Ohtani the hitter crushed this ball 109.5 mph off the bat and a whopping 440 feet to center field. The Dodgers superstar is truly unbelievable.

This is the best Shohei Ohtani has looked as a pitcher for the Dodgers. If it weren't for a dropped pop up, he'd be through four shutout (and probably perfect) innings. He has eight strikeouts on 54 pitches. He has 13 whiffs. He hit a two-run home run.

Noah Camras (@noahcamras) 's Twitter Profile Photo

That is a bad loss for the Dodgers. Shohei Ohtani gave them four dominant innings and a two-run home run. The offense didn't score after the fourth inning, blowing a 3-1 lead. The Dodgers are 66-49 and have a 2.5 game lead in the NL West over the Padres (who play AZ tonight).

Shohei Ohtani has 40 home runs and an OPS of 1.000 this season. He also has a 2.37 ERA with 25 strikeouts across 19 innings. The Dodgers star should be a lock to win a third straight MVP.

What a start by Blake Snell in his second outing off the IL and fourth all season: 5 IP 3 H 0 ER 3 BB 10 K 90 pitches 18 whiffs This is the version of Snell the Dodgers are betting on in the stretch run and eventual postseason run. What a good sign.

The Blue Jays intentionally walked Shohei Ohtani with runners on first and and second with no outs to face Mookie Betts. He responded by hitting a two-run single on the very first pitch he saw. The Dodgers lead 7-0 and Betts is heating up.

Noah Camras (@noahcamras) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Shohei Ohtani has done it again. He hits a leadoff home run, his 41st homer of the season, and the Dodgers tie the Blue Jays at 1-1. This one was 106.3 mph off the bat and went 400 feet. Ohtani is just so, so good.

Freddie Freeman stays hot and follows Shohei Ohtani with a home run of his won. The Dodgers offense is heating up this series. What a great sign for LA.

Noah Camras (@noahcamras) 's Twitter Profile Photo

What an at-bat by Freddie Freeman. With the bases loaded and two outs, he drew a game-tying walk on a seven pitch at-bat. The Dodgers had four walks in the 8th inning to tie the game after Blake Treinen gave up the lead with two home runs in the top of the inning.

Noah Camras (@noahcamras) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Blake Treinen gave up the Dodgers' 3-2 lead in the 8th with two solo home runs. The Dodgers offense tied is in the bottom of the 8th. Alex Vesia gave up a solo home run on the first pitch of the 9th to give back the lead. Blue Jays lead 5-4.

Noah Camras (@noahcamras) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Andy Pages walked Max Muncy walked Alex Freeland sacrificed Alex Call walked The bases are loaded with one out for Shohei Ohtani. The Dodgers are down 5-4. A rookie left-handed pitcher is entering the game.

The Dodgers had the bases loaded and one out down 5-4 in the 9th. Shohei Ohtani struck out swinging. Mookie Betts grounded out. Blue Jays rookie Mason Fluharty got out of it. That's a brutal loss for the Dodgers, who now have just a 2-game lead in the NL West over the Padres.

Noah Camras (@noahcamras) 's Twitter Profile Photo

The Dodgers offense had 10 hits and drew 13 walks on Sunday. They scored just 4 runs. LA went 1-for-10 with RISP. They left 16 men on base. The Dodgers left the bases loaded in both the 8th and 9th innings. That was a brutal loss as the NL West race gets closer and closer.
