Meet the Team Squadron Leader Martin Somerfield Martin joins the team from Wales & West Region where he held the Regional Fieldcraft Officer post. Martin will take on the Senior Development Officer role, providing overall direction for all work streams within TDT.

It’s assessment weekend on our SAAI course and we’re starting early with a Lesson 8 demo as the sun comes up.

Day 2 of the SAAI assessment and our students are doing really well. Some great lessons delivered and lots of feedback given. It’s looking good🤞 for the whole course to be leaving as qualified Skill at Arms Instructors ready to deliver weapon training to our 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Cadets and CFAVs.

We’ve had a morning of catastrophic bleeding training to supplement our First Aid qualifications. Excellent course delivered by Wales & West Region Regional First Aid Officer.

A few weeks ago, three of the team headed out to Cyprus to deliver Air Rifle RMQ and K Qual courses to resident CFAV and Service Instructors 🇨🇾☀️

Well done to our brand new batch of Range Conducting Officers who passed our Short Range Course this weekend. Lots of hard work and determination. Now ready to safely deliver a high quality shooting experience for our cadets. #welldone
