Just arrived in Atlanta. I’ve been prepping to deliver an executive-level workshop on AI code review and code quality.

As a software developer, I want software out of almost everything I use

sometimes you have to just force yourself to read a bunch of boring dry material, don't pick up your phone and start scrolling, dont check twitter, just keep reading. 30 days of that you're an entirely different person. Your brain wont get any better always riding easy street

In Paris, I attended a speakers’ dinner for an AI conference. NVIDIA, OpenAI, Netflix, etc. at the table. We discussed a myriad topics: - how to multiply spending $ on what you actually enjoy and reduce/eliminate spending on what you don’t - competition and moats in AI dev tool

Some software engineers should consider specializing in software architecture. Would be a segway into AI architecture, an incredibly valuable area of expertise in this market.

And this is why, as a woman, you should do what you want. The moment you let society define you, you’ll spend your whole life shrinking and stretching yourself to fit boxes you were never meant for.

One of the most successful women I know is a black woman and she does not entertain social hierarchies in “friend groups”. She quite literally exists above and beyond it.

Love this. When a friend group is truly elite you never know who’s a possible late bloomer or WHETever. The lore of A dope friend group is knowing that at any moment ANY one in the group is capable of greatness. Behooves you to nurture all connection, not arbitrary pre roles.

The more I return to myself, the less I tolerate anything that disturbs my peace, dishonors my truth or dims my light.
