According to Economic Survey, Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund distributed loans as follows Punjab (79.36%), Sindh (12.35%), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (5.54%) and Balochistan (1.53%). PPAF should review it's policy. Poverty stricken areas should get more under principle of fairness.

Tragedies of Sawat, Lyari, Nagarparkar are deplorable. Official neglect in each case is evident. Perfunctory action of suspending few officials is a figleaf. Untill human lives are valued and systems are critically assessed and corrected, such incidents will continue to reoccur.
