It is very hard to understand how Starmer and the Labour Party have "got it so wrong". They get into power, after 14 long years...and immediately start bringing in polices detrimental to large groups of the very people who voted for them. How can they have been so stupid?

There are now up to 170 Labour MPs willing to rebel against Labour's cruel and callous welfare cuts. I think the Conservatives will also vote against them. I've seen a number of Tory MPs openly oppose them.

It is true that most people who claim PIP are unable to work. But that's because to be eligible for PIP you need to have significant health conditions that need a lot of care & support. So it's predictable most won't be able to work. But its still not an out-of-work benefit.

You can't wash or dress yourself but Govt want you to lose financial help which will mean losing the carers allowance for your carer- what happens then? The person sits in their own mess until the authorities send a carer which will cost 10 times more than was taken away.
