The Great Gray Owl I made another trip back to the beautiful Sax-Zim Bog last weekend. I spent a few hours searching for owls and managed to spot this incredible Great Gray Owl just off the road.

Serene sunrise on Superior

The world’s largest aircraft, the Antonov An-225 Mriya (“Dream”), was destroyed in Russia’s attack on Ukraine. The plane made its stop once in Minneapolis in 2014. To commemorate the plane, I added a photo of it alongside other aircraft in my Planes of MSP photo.

Alaska is on a whole other level of beauty. While driving up the Dalton Highway to the Arctic Circle, we were greeted with this breathtaking view overlooking snow-covered trees and mountains as far as the eye could see.

No April Fool’s jokes here, the skies above High Falls on the Canadian border in Grand Portage, MN were alive with pillars of Northern Lights at 4:45am!
