Another week, another rail project abroad that damns UK's paucity of ambition. No way a project as fraught as Pajares (50 km line u/construction since 2004!) wld've been completed in Britain. Trans-Pennine base tunnel surely simple in comparison... bit.ly/3NbDrqv
