This is Armed Forces Week. Last Saturday, NI celebrated Armed Forces Day at Jordanstown Loughshore Park. Councils & public buildings are flying the Armed Forces Flag to show support. This included flag raisings in ABC Council , and Antrim & Newtownabbey Borough Council. More info nivco.co.uk
This afternoon, Rachael from the NI Veterans Commissioners Office visited 100 year old WWII veteran Ada Chell in Bangor, alongside NI Blind Veterans UK Caseworker Karen. It was a pleasure & privilege to meet such an inspirational, humble & independent lady—a true national treasure.

Today, the NI Veterans Commissioners Office attended the Delano van der Stok Health Seminar in Lisburn. It was good to learn about how they support veterans awaiting or receiving treatment for mental & physical health. We're grateful for the work of DMWS in supporting veterans' wellbeing.
