I'm proud of my lab colleague and friend, Diana Mazenko, who presents her work about settling different perspectives common in unconscious processing/perception literature at the IVSS.

Sagi and Omar were supposed to get married, but Sagi, a reserve officer in the Maglan unit, fell in battle in Kibbutz Be'eri. I've never been so devastated. My heart is shattered 💔.

Science Twitter: the last 19 days were a living hell for our Israeli colleagues. Their loved ones have been brutally murdered in their homes, raped and kidnapped. They spend hours sheltering from bombings. They feel scared, angry, & isolated. This is the time to show our support.

New EEG Inattentional Blindness (IB) paper with Michael Pitts, Enriqueta Canseco Gonzalez, Bradley N. Jack, & Prof Kristen Pammer. We find no evidence of an N400 to, nor above chance decoding of, related/unrelated word pairs when subjects are inattentionally blind to the word pairs. /1

Still studying the role of conscious perception in semantic processing. I presented today at #IVSS how unconscious semantic processing might be more extended than previously thought.

Our UnconTrust database for studies of unconscious processing is now officially launched in an interactive website here: uncontrustdb.tau.ac.il And a paper describing the process and the validation is now published in “Scientific Data”: doi.org/10.1038/s41597…
