W⚡️L took the lead in a tiebreaker inning when Kendra#2 doubled, scoring Riley McMillan, then scored herself from 2nd on a Zetta Smith bunt. Phoenix Ahles pitched 5 innings, allowing 6 hits & 4 runs & 5Ks. ⛈️ cancelled tournament & W⚡️L were awarded 2nd place by coin flip.

W⚡️L took wins 6-1 over Fuquay Phenoms, getting things started in the 1st with aly taylor’s 2 run 1B. 3 more runs scored in the 3rd with a 1B by Lela Byrd, a sac fly by @hadleyrena10, & a 2B by @phoenixahles. Zetta Smith & Riley McMillan each had 2 hits to lead the team.

W⚡️L fought back after falling down by 4 in the 3rd. The comeback fell just short though, in a 4-3 defeat to SoMD Ospreys Premier. W⚡️L scored three runs in the failed comeback on a sac fly by Lela Byrd & a 1B by @phoenixahles. @lorawilgus led the offense with 2 hits in 2 AB.

W⚡️L cruised to an easy victory over Coastal Impact 16u 8-2 on Sunday. The team notched 4 runs in the 4th⚡️started by a walk by @kendra_huff2, a singl by Sydney Nitcznski, & a sac fly by @phoenixahles. Lela Byrd also had 2 hits in the game, contributing to the team’s 7 total hits.

W⚡️L defeated Vengeance Sat due to a big 2nd inning. @WL_jaydenford34 hit in 1 on a 1B, @hadleyrena10 scored 1 on a FC, Riley McMillan hit a 3 run HR, @lorawilgus scored 1 on a 3B, Lela Byrd scored 1 on a 2B, aly taylor scored 1 on a 1B, & Sydney Nitcznski had 3 RBIs on a 1B

W⚡️L bested Inferno Black 16U 5-0 in game 1 of the USA Southern World Series, scoring 3 in the 1st on an aly taylor single. Another 1B by Zetta Smith extended the lead to 5. Lela Byrd earned the W with 0 hits & 0 runs in 4IP, 2 BB & 5 Ks. Next game 1:30.
