Approximately 67,000 customers are currently without power due to Thursday's storm, down from around 85,000. Customers in Lake and Porter counties are most affected. Estimated restoration times are not available. We're also preparing for more storms this afternoon and evening.

Service has been restored to approximately 28,000 customers affected by last night's storm. Much of the damage occurred in LaPorte, Lake and Porter counties. Around 57,000 currently customers remain without power. Full restoration could take several days.

Service has been restored to more than 50% of those impacted by last night’s storms. Along with NIPSCO crews, 240 additional in-state and neighboring state resources have been engaged to assist with the restoration effort. Full restoration will take several days.

Power has been restored to more than 80% of customers affected by Thursday's storm. About 16,300 customers remain without power. This evening, a windstorm caused about 14,000 new outages. Restoration times by community are not yet available due to the extent of the damage.

As of 6 a.m. CT today, approximately 19,700 customers remain without power due to Thursday night’s severe thunderstorm and Friday night’s windstorm. Approximately 2,300 individual repairs (broken poles, downed trees and wires) are needed to complete service restoration.
