Watching ‘Pretzel and the Puppies’ on Apple TV with my 3 year-old daughter. The episode is about the puppies creating a community food pantry to combat food insecurity in their hometown of Muttgomery. It first aired a week before pandemic SNAP benefits were cut across the country

I had the opportunity to discuss #WIC and food insecurity with Tami @luhby (@CNN) and what might happen if the program funding were cut. As PSID data show, participation in the program is beneficial across the life course. Read more here —
