Kicking off the panafrican #ACCES2022 music conference with the Music In Africa Foundation‘s annual general meeting. Looking back at the last year shows it has been challenging but extremely succesful - thanks to eddie hatitye and the great team.

It‘s amazing to see how strong Music In Africa has grown since we founded it together with the goetheinstitut in 2013 - thanks to the dedicated Music In Africa Foundation, director eddie hatitye and a wonderful international team.

Tanzanian music legends Saida Karoli and DDC Mlimani Park Orchestra have been honoured with the 2022 Music In Africa Honorary Award at ACCES in Dar es Salaam.

As I said earlier tonight, I'm deeply impressed by the work of Music In Africa and very excited to be at the #ACCES2022 conference in Dar es Salaam.
