In our latest LCERPA Economics working paper, Nikolai M. Cook (Lazaridis School of Business & Economics) and Taylor John Wright (Brock University) use Chicago gunshot detection data from SoundThinking (formerly ShotSpotter), finding that hotter temperatures lead to more gun crime.
