I think about how 10 years ago I didn't get a Head of ICT job as I was told my plan to teach Python to year 7 was "ambitious and not in their age capability". Today my EYFS 5 year old came home with her first lines of code and I never felt more justified in that scheme of work!

I spent most of my RWI knowledge getting 13-16year old boys to read. It means that my mind is blown by what my 5 year old can read and really solidifies what a scary place school must be if you've spent 10 years not being able to read or with a very low grasp on literacy

Planning a behaviour support session with school leaders, last session we looked at educational journals to inform practice, this week we're going to be looking at social media support. I don't think they're ready for a session of TikTok videos 😅 I love getting creative
