I had the pleasure of hosting the Indian High Commissioner to the UK, His Excellency Vikram Doraiswami, at my Ministry for a business networking event. A special thanks to His Excellency for taking time out of his demanding schedule to visit us in Gibraltar. India in the UK 🇬🇮🇬🇧🇮🇳

A real privilege to bring two MPs out to Gibraltar for their first visit. A busy couple of days, and great to see their enthusiasm and support for Gibraltar 🇬🇮

Team Gibtelecom proudly supporting Relay for Life, joined by our Chairman, the Hon. Nigel Feetham KC 👏 A huge well done to the organisers and everyone taking part in this 24-hour event for such a meaningful cause. The 24 hours symbolise the reality that cancer never sleeps,

We are grateful to the European Commission and its senior officials for their decision today. While this marks an important step forward, our work is not over. We will redouble our effort. We won’t let up. 🇬🇮 gbc.gi/news/gibraltar…

Great news for our finance centre & our economy as a whole. This decision should not be underestimated. Although we have our political differences I know he has Gibraltar's best interest at heart. Kudos to Nigel Feetham KC & his team for the hard work. Now let's stay out of it 😉💪

Today, with David Lammy and Stephen Doughty MP we held a Cabinet meeting in No6 Convent Place to agree final parameters for negotiation. We will now travel to Brussels to meet Maroš Šefčovič🇪🇺 and José Manuel Albares. It's time to try to finalise arrangements for lasting, stable relationship

Yesterday Chief Minister & I both addressed the Gaming sector, particularly on the EU agreement. Without a sustainable economy, everything we may sometimes take for granted today, including public expenditure on our public sector, healthcare, and education, would all be at risk.

Yesterday, I invited youngsters to my Ministerial table at the Gaming eSummit — Gibraltar’s premier event in the gaming calendar attended by leading industry figures and the most senior executives. Involving next generation in key conversations is key to future of our economy. 🇬🇮

If you are interested in the economic implications of the Treaty, listen to my interview with Jonathan Scott on GBC Gibraltar Today, aired today. While economic matters may seem remote to most people, I explain why they are very relevant to all of us. youtube.com/watch?v=CLrBet…

In less than a minute of my interview with Jonathon Scott on GBC Gibraltar Today, the message is clear: young people are the future. We must think not only of our children, but of our grandchildren and the legacy we leave behind.

The agenda of last Wednesday’s Cabinet meeting was signed by every Minister as a historical record for the National Archive. First time a Government of Gibraltar has hosted a Cabinet meeting attended by both a Foreign Secretary and a Minister for Europe. Published today in the GC
