Hi all. As you may recall, me and Niftski organized a speedrunning event last summer called Kukie Rush, intending to raise enough money for LeKukie to travel from Brazil to PACE 2025 to compete in the Mario 1 speedrunning events...

While Kukie Rush was successful in raising over $2600 for this goal, PACE was unfortunately canceled in February, leaving everything in limbo. In March, FlibidyDibidy was able to get the Mario events moved to the SoCal Retro Gaming Expo, the same venue as CTWC...

Immediately after receiving this news, LeKukie began the process of obtaining a U.S. travel visa. Unfortunately, for a variety of factors, LeKukie’s visa was denied, and he will not be able to attend. Since we can no longer put the Kukie Rush money towards its intended purpose...

we will be reaching out individually to everyone who donated to offer refunds. Each person will also have the option to keep their money in a fund that will support efforts to help LeKukie successfully obtain a visa and hopefully travel to a similar event in the future.
