Another great opportunity In this case getting into the definition of #regenerative Following on from BBC Radio 4 Food Programme Regen is about outcomes Regenerating some form of natural capital (like soil health) which can then be leveraged for farming, on an ongoing basis 🤓

Great to be able to share thoughts on the definition of regen for example Following on from The Food Programme My def is focused around outcomes Regeneration of natural capital (eg soil health) For the direct benefit of the producer Either improving yields or reducing costs/losses

Friday I was on the road again as I traveled to Da Byw - Livestock Environmental Sustainability event in Wales 🏴 It was great to reconnect with past students and spend time with friends from the Nature Friendly Farming Network. A lot of inspiring talks & discussions had by all - Great day 👍🏻

In between shows & other events I have also visited Wales to deliver my Weather Proof Farm talk 🌱 A big thank you to the fantastic group of farmers who attended, as well as the Wye & Usk Foundation - our generous hosts

With Groundswell fast approaching, I’m pleased that I’ll once again be speaking. Last year, I presented for the The Wildlife Trusts & this year I’m pleased to be back as part of a panel discussion exploring the ecological importance of livestock #RegenerativeAg #SoilHealth

Back from a brilliant two days attending Groundswell 🌱I was grateful to be given the chance to speak again, this time on a panel covering the topic of the Ecological Importance of Livestock - Another great event ticked off the list this year 😎 #RegenerativeAgriculture

A week on & I am reflecting on a great day I had visiting the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society - a real highlight of the farming calendar. I also had the chance to dig into the newly announced Sustainable Farming Scheme (SFS) in Wales & with Nature Friendly Farming Network and RSPB Cymru 👍🏻 #RegenerativeAgriculture

With compost making & its benefits being an interest of mine, I was delighted to attend the Compost Trial Farm Walk with Andrew Lingham in Kent recently. It was a great opportunity to connect with farmers, researchers & innovators in the regen space 🌱 Kent Wildlife Trust

Less than a month to go until The #AgroforestryShow & I am pleased to be a guest speaker at this great event. Organised by #WoodlandTrust and Soil Association - the two-day event is focused on bridging the gap in knowledge, skills and support for agroforestry in the UK🚜
