Opened my phone this morning to this text from my mom. My dad continues to hold his title as the most quiet, yet loudly goofy person I’ve ever known. Also, why, why, why have I never gone to China Lights at Boerner??

Laughing with my sister that getting older doesn’t mean you stop having self doubt, but maybe that you get better at triaging it— to get yourself to acknowledge & feel it, and then move on to any other thoughts that can be more helpful and positive.

Some clubs are just a little more fun & special. A wonderful night at our The Junior League of Milwaukee Past Presidents dinner. Lots of stories and wisdom shared as we were inspired by our fab President for 2023-24, Erin Donegan and her plans for a terrific year ahead!

A kind of upside down day capped with me walking in to see my aunt sing at Caroline’s two minutes after she finished her set. Thankfully, caught her back up vocals for “Hold On.”What a salve that song is. Musical first aid. It righted the night!
