So very true - in our research we found that securing changes through collaborative working is taking longer than many had appreciated BUT where collaborative working is flourishing it is generating a high level of engagement & energy.

Our brains have to battle distance bias, which causes us to prioritize ideas and decisions closer in time over things further in the future. Try blocking off time each month to map out a “future state” for where you’d like your team to be in 3 to 6 months. hbr.org/2023/07/3-ways…
