PhD - Day 591 First day of the Social Policy Assoc conference, attended some great seminars, met so many people and enjoyed the conference dinner.

Phd - Day 592 It was a lovely morning stroll to see the bunnies before i presented. It went really well, and I got great feedback, especially regarding 'unique presenting style' 😀

PhD - Day 593 A lovely morning in York, followed by a train ride home to see the birthday girl aka my mam. We had a family party to attend (aunty's birthday) and I was seriously flagging. 😴 My social battery is flat and im hibernating for the weekend now.

PhD - Day 594 The laziest day ever, films and a Chinese takeaway in bed.

PhD - Day 595 I got caught working on some IE prep. The husband told me to put it away as I'd promised him I'd rest this weekend. He sent me for a shower and I've come back to fresh pj's laid out, tv set up for my trashy tv show, snacks and a cold beer. #cheerleader 💙

PhD - Day 596 First qualitative interview conducted tonight for my PhD! This seemed soooo far away when I designed my research study. I'm excited to see where these discussions go 😊

Phd - Day 598 This weather will be the death of me. The flat was 34° so we popped out for some air. But I worked 9am-4pm on my assessment draft 👍

PhD - Day 599 28° outside and hotter in the flat. But I'm cracking on with my IE presentation draft 🙃

PhD - Day 601 A beautiful day spent sunbathing. I read a trashy book. Had bbq food and cocktails. I definitely needed this break 😌 Final push for my IE report when im home.

PhD - Day 602 A late Sunday evening stroll along the beach at Rhos on Sea with the parents 💙 we stopped for an ice cream and to admire the flowers. They're just so cute now they're older 😍

PhD - Day 603 I'm adorable. I actually got the breakdown hair dye out this afternoon but stayed strong. Stand by people! 😂🤦‍♀️

PhD - Day 604 A super early start today, fuelled by caffeine. It's now 4pm and I just noticed i havent inserted a MEGA important table into my results section 😂🤦‍♀️ Sadly this adds yet more words but that's a tonight problem.

PhD - Day 604 Pt 2 Time to have a break. Put my feet up and enjoy a nutritious meal. Final checks tomorrow before I move onto question and presentation prep 💪

PhD - Day 605 Today I submitted my IE! 🙌 I celebrated by getting a long over due hair cut and enjoying a few pints of Guinness

PhD - Day 606 A little Day off today so I took the train to New Mills to visit my dad. Pub lunch and a good chat 👍

PhD - Day 607 A productive day, supervision session and then a catch up with a fellow student. 2hrs+ talking about our work, our IEs, what we want our research to achieve. So helpful 😊 Husband cooked as my brain is mashed. Feet up and murder documentary for our date night 😂🤦‍♀️

PhD - Day 608 Today my best friend and I went to a pottery painting event. Wine, cheese pie, cake and painting. Im not the best but it was so nice to just relax. I thought of nothing for 3 hours. Bliss! Can't wait to go again.

PhD - Day 609 A lovely day. Food shop ✅️ washing ✅️ visit from the parents ✅️ Vinted sort out ✅️ Roast chicken dinner cooked ✅️ New book started ✅️
