Watching the post match scenes at Leeds and thinking about what we had to put up with. Nobody can say that we aren’t due some enjoyment.

Not sure why a full review of last season takes so long given where it was heading for so long but surely the tactical awareness and determination and togetherness of Sunderland compared to our performance 6 days earlier is all anyone needs to consider.

Bristol City scored two goals from set pieces tonight. We have not scored one in the whole of 2025. There must be something going wrong somewhere!!

What a weekend it could be for Boro fans if Newcastle get a champions league spot and Sunderland go up to the Premiership whilst we only have the excitement of finding out the results of the season enquiry to look forward to, that next week will be into week 4.

What a season for the north east teams. Geordies - Caraboa Cup & Champions League qualifiers. Makems - Premiership. Boro - Won a cup game and top half finish in Championship. #hotbedoffootball

How can Championship clubs survive in the Premiership now. Excluding the games between themselves, this season they got IN TOTAL 43 points between them from 102 games (goal difference -153) and you would have needed exactly that from 38 games to stay up.

For all of those who remember the Millenium as if it was yesterday (and are still waiting for the Millenium Bug to wreak havoc 😂) . A bit of a sobering thought that from tomorrow we will be closer to the start of 2050 than the Millenium.

Well my footballl season starts with a Champions League qualifier tomorrow, Pafos v Macccabi Tel Aviv. Great to catch up for a coffee and a chat (and a ticket!) with my client Ivan Sunjic this morning. Looking forward to a new ground!

Proud to assist this great charity educate the children of today who will be the players of the future and fantastic that the message is getting home about the real dangers of excessive heading of a football.

Just to rub salt into the wounds, the way the balls were numbered,if we had turned up on Tuesday and won, we would have been going to Everton’s new ground in a fortnight. Thanks Boro.
