When her father had a stroke last November and couldn’t look after her anymore, Chloe was made homeless. Her local council in Buckinghamshire had a legal duty to find her emergency accommodation and social care support. Except she says that hasn’t happened ⬇️

Yesterday I spoke to Sky News about Nick Martin's report & the wider problems with our social care system. We followed the heart breaking case of Chloe, who is disabled, autistic and now faces homelessness. I'm sorry to say that this is a common story.

In speaking to Sky News and Nick Martin's I discussed the government's failure to address social care. Social care can be an enabler for the economy, but that will mean spending now to fix it. By doing nothing there is already a massive cost to the economy.
