Thanks to Mindful for featuring some of my research on the emotional impacts of MBSR in their magazine - completed with Maital Neta and Jon Freeman. Really appreciate the opportunity to share my findings with a broader audience. CAN Lab @ UNL mindful.org/can-mindfulnes…

Some new work with Maital Neta out at JRP! We found that sharing positive emotions buffers loneliness-related negativity during the early part of the COVID-19 pandemic. Free access to the paper through the link: authors.elsevier.com/a/1gHytL4LD2bqv

Loved writing for Society for Personality and Social Psychology’s Characters & Context about my work at University of Nebraska-Lincoln measuring valence bias in intergroup judgements of facial expressions: bit.ly/3HgfUB6 Thankful for the insight and support of my wonderful collaborators Maital Neta Nick Harp @IngridHaas

In our latest #PocketScience: Research from Maital Neta & Nick Harp points toward the value of sharing positive emotional experiences amid isolating circumstances — even the early stages of a pandemic. Nebraska CAS Nebraska Psychology news.unl.edu/newsrooms/toda…

New paper out with new collaborators, Andero Uusberg and James Gross, and old, Nick Harp and Claudia Clinchard! We examined the link between valence bias (i.e., interpretation of emotional ambiguity) and emotion regulation (1/2) tandfonline.com/doi/epdf/10.10…

New work out with Maital Neta ! We assessed valence bias and affective symptoms (depression, anxiety) throughout a mindfulness-based stress reduction program, and found that the degree of change in valence bias corresponded with change in symptoms: rdcu.be/dnr3Y

New work out - led by Claudia Clinchard with both Dr. Tierney Lorenz & Maital Neta! We found that a more negative bias was associated with greater dysphoric-related PTSD and depression symptoms - suggesting a negative bias may be a risk factor for future sx! pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38252112/
