I gotta say, the throwback promotion is firing on all cylinders for the upcoming #Superman flick. Yesterday my son wisely picked out the Super Powers Supes and his Fortress by #McFarlaneToys. Looks just like something straight out of the 80s.💥

Man I hope #Superman connects with audiences in a monumental way. The character, despite being the dude who literally put the “super” in superhero, has had such an uphill battle on film. He (and the fans) deserve an unequivocal win.💥

Despite their father being a massive #Superman fan, this is the first time I’ve seen my sons (8 and 10) connect with the character in such a big way. They’re all in. Thank you James Gunn and David Corenswet for delivering a hero for this generation!

The #Superman licensing art drawn by Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez in the 1980s are some of the very best renderings of the character in any medium. Used for the Kenner Super Powers action figure and several other pieces of iconic 80s DC merchandise.

I love Superman 2025. I also loved Man of Steel. But when I think of #Superman my mind reflexively goes right to this singular performance. Something to be said for true perfection.
