It's a real testament to the limits of money in politics that Elon Musk spent ~$300m minimum to elect a president and got a giant pile of tariffs, repeal of clean energy and EV credits, a crackdown on student visas, etc, etc etc along with a budget bill he openly opposes

NEW: Gov Jared Polis (D) has vetoed a bill banning surprise billing by ambulance companies. The bill passed the Colorado legislature by *unanimous* votes in both chambers. #copolitics

Polis' veto letter said the benefit of preventing surprise billing to consumers was outweighed by the potential for rate increases if surprise billing was regulated by the state government.
