Hereโ€™s my take on #comet Tsuchinsan/Atlasโ€ฆ imaged from Chingford NE London on 19 October with my StellaMira 90mm EDT & ZWO 533MC camera. Once the comet had set I turned the scope to image the โ€˜Pac Manโ€™ nebula NGC281 In Cassiopeia. #Astrophotography BBC Sky at Night Magazine

So I decided to go for the complete lap, & hereโ€™s the result of a 31.6 million second (give or take a few!) exposure๐Ÿ˜€. Apparently we did get some sunny days this year! The SolarCan #SolarCan

Amazing the difference a few hours can haveโ€ฆ bottom image is the result of pointing the scope & camera at the Whirlpool Galaxy for 8 hours, the top picture after 21 hours shows much more detail Imaged from NE London over 1-3 nights, even with a bright moon. #astrophotography

Blink and youโ€™ll miss it! Solar transit by the International Space Station as seen from my garden in NE London 12 June. Composite of 19 frames as the transit lasted less than a second. Taken with my 90mm refractor & Canon UK and Ireland 90D DSLR. #Astrophotography BBC Sky at Night Magazine
