I’m not sure if this was a smart strategy or not and personally I think they should add another quality CB at this point, but… I feel fairly validated in my offseason analysis that WR was a much bigger concern for the team than CB. They invested a 3rd and 4th at WR and 0 at CB

Justin Jefferson and Micah Parsons are three weeks apart in age and Jefferson is signed through 2028 and makes 12 million AAV less. I'm sure Jefferson will get his contract revised up at some point, but have to feel good about that if you're the Vikings.
