You could see the development of humanoid robots as not a desire to replace human work but to create world with mass automation that humans can understand and still participate in.

You might get something that matches very high level wordcel human intelligence using just text, but I think novel insights in the physical world and AGI will require training on the real world. Tesla is doing that for cars and humanoid robot manufactures will do the same.

Copy and paste is like the analogue hole of moving text between applications. More and more though, text is not easily copyable. That is annoying, but with AI OCR a simple program to use screen capture to grab text could get me back to where I want to be. Maybe it already exists.

Many people, mostly men, enjoy risk, especially when paired with reward. But there are few places in modern society where large physical risk is pared with large returns. Opening of space travel could change that (recover a trillion dollars asteroid, your progeny populate Mars).

A $100 bill weighs about 1g. When the price of gold goes above about $3100, carrying gold instead of US cash will be less weight and a whole lot more compact.

At about $3110 per ounce gold becomes more valuable by weight than $100 bills. Originally, bills were an easier, lighter way to carry the equivalent of bulkier amounts of gold. Soon the flippening arrives.

The JFK Assassination Records release is 1123 records (~80,000 pages). archives.gov/research/jfk/r… Need a torrent of the zip file of all the docs and an AI that has ingested them to query.

I use a brokerage and bank combo for finances. I would like overdraft protection on my checking to draw from my margin account. No can do. How about using a bank credit card. Morgan Stanley Private Bank does not have one yet, like all other banks. I can get a line of credit

My stock margin account is over 10%. Who do they think is getting a credit card offer at 10%. They will just disappear completely. I might get behind banning usury, but I don't think that this is what people supporting this policy have in mind.

When did dump as a noun get replaced? An honest word the covers the gamut of possible places you are dumping. Landfill, transfer station, waste center, recycling center, back yard hole. Bring it back.

It is pretty annoying to board a plane that says it is on time just to have them say it’s delayed immediately after the door OSS closed. Waiting in the terminal is much nicer than waiting on the plane.

It's too bad that safety regulations make it so expensive to have small, short-haul airplane flights. I would love to pay $100 to fly from Aspen to Durango, but no flights are available

Why was North Korea not bombed when it was developing its nuclear weapons? Maybe because Seoul can be shelled from North Korean territory?

I listed my Model 3 Performance on Turo. It automatically says the car has a sunroof. It does not and no Tesla has a sunroof (I believe) but all have moonroofs. Hope the default can be changed. @Turo Tesla
