Well done to year 8 girls who took part in a rugby tag festival today. For some it was their first time playing rugby competitively and they won two games and drew one 🥳🥳🥳 #thriving Year 8 Newport High

So close! Everyone played their part in what was a fantastic Gwent 🏆 final vs a strong Caldicot School PE 3-3 in normal times, 2X goals from Fowler (MOM) and 1 for Romanowski, as we narrowly missed out on pens! Great tie played by 2 fantastic teams ThriveNHS Year 8 Newport High proud HOY

We watched the first leg of Wales vs Ireland with KS4 girls. We had a great time with perfect view of Wales’ goal 🥳 Sadly Ireland did get a goal in so the game was 1-1 with one game left to play. Congrats Wales Women's Team on your win last night and qualification for the Euros 🏴🏴🏴
