I've always thought if you want to know how good/bad a trust is to work for then look at turnover in corporate teams. It is much easier for us to leave and find jobs elsewhere. If we're leaving a trust in droves then probably has a toxic environment for clinical/medical staff.

So the government's long-awaited NHS Workforce Plan is that it is easier to throw more people at the meat grinder than fix the underlying retention problems.

I know it is unpopular with public who don't like to see their taxes go to non-clinical staff but NHS desperately needs more admin. You have projects stalled because there are 3 procurement staff. Job candidates waiting months to start because we have 2 people in recruitment.

Add 'Am I alone in thinking...' to 'this might be controversial to say...' and 'I'm not racist but...' as sentences that precede disaster

The #NHSWorkforcePlan appears purely to generate positive headlines amongst public and not fix any of the issues. "Look over there at the tens of thousands new clinical staff, pay no attention to the decline in standards and patient safety"

To be honest, we were all expecting the NHS Workforce Plan to be a mess. What we're waiting for now is whether Labour will call out the erosion in clinical standards and safety, or whether both parties are complicit in the decline of the NHS

Limiting how many tweets I can see per day is probably the best intervention for my health and wellbeing that anyone has ever made. Thanks Elon!

We have had our media coming to cover the strikes cancel tomorrow due to The Sun story. Not content with messing up a man's life, they have also managed to divert any attention from issues with the NHS

If you see this guy on TV later trying to justify why NHS staff don’t deserve a decent pay rise, I want you to remind yourself that he owns 9 separate homes.

Thinking of leaving Twitter as my notifications and recommendations increasingly become far right and conspiratorial. Are there any NHS or #MedTwitter people on Threads worth following?
