Bechard, the director of over 20 feature films and author of 5 novels, plans to return to filmmaking and writing, He is working on three feature docs: FACTORY, Best Video the movie, and the Powder Ridge Music Festival documentary. Info can be found at WhatWereWeThinkingFilms.com

Though Bechard is leaving the film fest world, Director Katherine and Technical Director Tony are planning something new: Lighthouse Lens Film Festival, which will screen both fiction & doc films. Launching in the Summer of 2025. Details can be found here: LighthouseLensFilmFestival.org

“When our only movie theatre closed on opening day of the 2023 edition of the festival,” says Executive Director Gorman Bechard, “we should have known it was a bad sign. And having to stretch ourselves so thin between ten venues last year became an impossible task.”
