Loved hearing and seeing WICOR span into our Spanish classrooms. Students, through the use of collaboration, researched Spanish speaking countries, organized their information, and then participated in a gallery walk/road trip to view one another’s work.

8th grade AVID students completed some community service today. From sorting to singing to delivering treats, they brought smiles to many faces.

8th Grade AVID Students wrote letters to colleges they wanted to learn more about. Replies are starting to come in and some even contain swag! Thank you University of Oregon and UT Knoxville for making these kids day!

And the tallest tower goes to…the group that chewed up bubblegum & stuck jolly ranchers in between to get them an additional 2 inches. Students were able to use anything they had to build the tallest tower. The smiles & laughs were contagious today! Northgate Gators AVID
