#HYPHIP Hypertension A key feature of the CKiD study is the longitudinal design (participants return annually for study visits). We are very grateful for that! So anytime a participant came back to a visit and changed their ABPM status, we could incorporate that into the model. 1/2

An important paper led by Gayathri Menon, MHS, a talented and hard-working graduate of Johns Hopkins Epidemiology, a mentee and #Epi753 student. A product of #Epi753 concepts, CKiD Study data and her great scientific mind, we are very pleased to share it!

Another exciting and useful output of the CKiD Study. Congrats Derek K Ng!!
Big congratulations to @jasonhaw for his defense and brilliant thesis! It is difficult to keep up with Johns Hopkins Epidemiology students and he was one of the worst offenders! π A great celebration of his accomplishment, and this is just the beginning for this talented epidemiologist!
A special CKiD Study paper that I'm so pleased is supported by NIDDK, @kidney_int, Ryan Town π€π½π«. This tool helps predict pediatric CKD progression to KRT (online at kidney.wiki). We did our best and our hope is that it is useful for clinicians treating ped CKD.
