We commenced a two-day training for Law Enforcement Officers on the Women’s Amendment Act 2015. This is to equip officers with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively enforce the law, protect victims, and promote gender-sensitive policing.

We commend the GPF for their swift action in charging the women involved in the tragic death of the infant. This sends a strong message that FGM will not be tolerated. We urge the public to continue reporting any harmful traditional practices
