I gave a talk on leadership capacity-building by PAMCA - WiVC at the 8th #PAMC2024 on 24th April. This initiative benefited 25 women from 17 African countries working on VBDs. Key takeaways are to continue investing in women’s leadership to leverage holistic & integrated efforts.

So Happy to share with you that I have been awarded a 1st prize of Booster Talk Presentation at the 3rd Pamca Cameroon Chapter Conference Thanks Pamca Cameroon for the recognition of the work done. The prize was given to me by a bigger Professor @ProfEtang. CRID-Cam Charles Wondji


🥇🥈🥉4 ladies from #CRID were awarded at the 3rd #PAMCAScientific Conference! Raissa Manyaka won the 1st prize for her oral presentation, with Tatiane Assatse and Ngongang-Yipmo Sonia taking 2nd and 3rd respectively. Also, Vanessa Nganang received the 1st prize for her booster talk.🎉







Happy to share with you that I started a 5 days workshop on Omics skills in-house at CRID-Cam with good facilitators Gadji_Mahamat Hervé Raoul TAZOKONG @arnaudTepa Cedric Thank you Charles Wondji for this wonderful opportunity on behalf of the @AVecGen project Bill Gates foundation.


Happy End for this fantastic workshop on RNASeq , PoolSeq analysis we were capacited in the use of Rstudio, Linux command line, Ubuntu... Many thanks to Prof Charles Wondji Gates Foundation and to the facilitators Gadji_Mahamat Hervé Raoul TAZOKONG arnaud tepa @Cedrique.



Day 5-Participants explore the last module of the training: “Promoter Analysis and Introduction to gene editing by CRISPR-Cas9 technology”. They benefit from the expertise of Theofelix Tekoh A., freshly back from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health as well as that of Carlos Djoko, research assistant .


Prof. Charles Wondji laid the foundation for the African Centre for Vector Genomics (AVecGen) building. Funded by the Gates Foundation, this project will establish advanced genomics and bioinformatics facilities at CRID, serving as a regional hub for malaria vector control research.
