GLSHS students recently participated in Sophomore College Visit Day, in which they visited several post-secondary schools in the area. The goal was to expose students to post-secondary pathways & gain information that will help them make informed decisions about their future.

Career Speakers are just one of many opportunities students at Greater Latrobe have to help them prepare for their future pathway. Today's career speakers included an attorney, a physician assistant, a CDL truck driving company, a graphic designer, and a bank fraud investigator!

Our last career speaker day at GLSHS took place today and we had some awesome presentations from GOAL Magazine, Independence Health System, IBM, WCCC Advanced Technology Center, and the Latrobe Police Dept.

GLSHS students attended Westinghouse Engineer Your Future Day and participated in engaging activities in math and science while exploring various disciplines of engineering!

GLSHS students toured Stage AE today while learning about Point Park University Sports, Arts, Entertainment, and Music Business Program! A great opportunity to explore career pathways in this industry!

GLSHS students recently attended Independence Health System Career Fair at Latrobe Hospital and explored careers in nursing, surgery, obstetrics, imaging, EMS, pharmacy, infection control, laboratory, informatics, anesthesia, and more!

It’s always a good day when the therapy dogs are here! Wildcat Wellness Day is in full swing! Lots of free activities hosted by community partners to promote mental health and wellness to students here at Greater Latrobe Senior and Junior High Schools! 🐾

Mentorship students presented their final culminating projects last week, sharing their experiences of where they went, who they mentored with, and what they learned!

The 4th annual NEXT College & Career Fair was a success! Many employers, organizations, and post secondary programs promoted opportunities to students in grades 9-12!
