Meet Maryan Haji, a dedicated midwife who has been supporting the people of Wanwalayn in Lower-Shabelle since 1989. Maryan's health experience goes beyond delivering babies; she's a fierce advocate for eliminating FGM and improved maternity and child healthcare. Thank you Maryan.

Health heroes 🏥 Meet Fadumo, Halimo, Ashio, Hawa, Luul, and Hibo, an amazing squad of women who all volunteer at New Ways MCH facility in Barawe. These women are mothers raising children, yet they choose to serve their community as aid shrinks. NW is grateful for their service!
