New Ways Organization today participated in the Quarterly Country Humanitarian Forum in Baidoa organized by SODMA Somalia. New Ways amplifies the power of #localization and the role of local actors in responding to emergency relief needs in Somalia.


New Ways attended climate change and resilience learning workshop by the SomaliNGOConsortium. The 2-day learning event highlighted the role of local and international actors in forging a climate-resilient environment. NW, through its WASH projects, supports environmental protection.

Our recently completed health project funded by Somalia Humanitarian Fund is expected to have a significant impact on communities in Wanlawayn. From maternity care to staff training to health counseling, the project will provide much-needed care to people in Wanlawayn. Thank you to everyone!







A snapshot of #WorldHumanitarianDay2025 in Banadir that we hosted yesterday at NW head office in Mogadishu. We thank all those who came to share their stories. We also thank OCHA Somalia for playing a role in this event. Today and every day, we advocate for the safety of aid workers.


This week, we were joined by Ministry of Health- Somalia and UNICEF Somalia during mosquito nets distribution campaign in Baidoa. Mosquito nets are a defensive line against malaria during mosquito season. New Ways is in final stages of providing LLNs across Southwest State in Somalia.






Today in New Ways office, Baidoa, we received a joint delegation from UNICEF’s Global Fund led by Dr. Yousuf Babaya, UNICEF Somalia’s Program Health Systems Strengthening Specialist. During the visit, we discussed malaria prevention strategies and area of matual collaborations.
