UPDATE: Although we urged George Gresham 1199SEIU💫 to voluntarily recognize our staff union, Leadership refused to live our union values and has forced a union election.

Democrat & Chronicle journalists are protesting Gannett's bad faith bargaining, which has left us without a contract for years. Our asks (living wages, layoff protections) are reasonable, and your support in this fight is invaluable.
