It was lovely to welcome our MP Andrew Mitchell to New Oscott Primary School this morning. We were very excited to show Mr Mitchell where our new school is being built!

Thank you to the pupils who helped us to welcome MP Andrew Mitchell and our special visitors from DFE and Tilbury Douglas this morning. They were amazing hosts!

Each pupil in our welcome party held the special spade to mark the start of the building of our new school!

We went into the site office to collect our hi-vis jackets and hard hats before we went onto the building site. Mr Jones from Tilbury Douglas showed us the plans for our new school.

New Oscott have safely arrived at their parking for Wimbledon. Very excited for the day!

Welcome back to all of our pupils in Years 1 to 6! We are having a wonderful morning. Everyone is working hard and settling into their new classes. It was lovely to see everyone together for a whole school assembly at the start of the day!

We were excited to see the steel frame for our new school being delivered this morning! Tomorrow, we are expecting a crane and then the construction of the steel frame will begin!
