We had a great morning hearing from Children North East , Newcastle United Foundation & Newcastle college about the wide range of support they offer our community. We discussed our community organising and themes that were emerging leading towards some action!

We've had a brilliant afternoon with Tyne & Wear Citizens exploring the issues in our community and starting the process of exploring what we focus taking action on and what that action might look like. Still more opportunity to listen and connect as we work together.

We had a great session yesterday hearing from Julie Healthworks about their outreach. Larisa Elswick Community Leisure Centre shared their trailblazing child swim & breakfast initiative.We shared successes since our last meeting with amazing examples of collaboration. #teamworkmakesthedreamwork

We have been super busy recently learning more about the organisations in our community & what they can offer. We've been connecting people to make great partnerships and working together on some actions to bring positive changes. Our next meeting is 21st November. Save the date!
