What's everyone's honest thoughts on the England away kit?

I just don't get the hate on wearing club kits to an International game. The England Home or Away kit is £85 we already spent enough money on Newcastle kits. Why would we spend another £85 for no reason, especially when the kits have had such negative press anyway.
